Days of our Lives' Stephen Nichols (Steve Johnson) shared a behind-the-scenes video announcing that he's thrilled to have a new scene partner in Kyle Lowder, who's played both Rex Brady and Brady Black on the NBC soap opera.

Knock, knock! Who's there? Former Days of our Lives star Kyle Lowder (Rex Brady), as can be seen in a new video shared by Stephen Nichols (Steve Johnson).

Nichols took to Twitter with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into his life in Salem that begins with him knocking on the dressing room door of his longtime castmate, Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady). She answers the door, wearing a robe, and reveals that she is currently microwaving water to make some tea. Just as she exclaims that she's feeling a little cold, Lowder happens by.

"Here comes our other scene partner; there's Kyle over there," Nichols says in the video, which he captioned, "And look ... a new scene partner for @marybeth_evans1 and me. He's a solid actor and a good guy too. Lucky us."

Lowder originally played the role of Brady Black from 2000 to 2005. He returned to the NBC soap opera in 2018 as Rex Brady, who he has played on-again, off-again since that time. He was last seen in Salem back in January, when Rex shared a beer with Xander (Paul Telfer) and talked with him about Sarah's (Linsey Godfrey) disappearance and whereabouts.

There aren't any additional details about Lowder's return at this time, so keep checking back to Soap Central for updates as they come!
