Kendall is keeping a secret that could break Zach's heart -- and her own. That secret is also keeping Bianca away from her daughter. And will Angie turn to David when Jesse's secrets are exposed? It's no secret that lives are about to be changed in this week's Two Scoops.

We love to hear your thoughts on All My Children. If you want to weigh in on storylines, characters, or anything else you can use the email link to drop our Dan a note, and you can also call our 24/7 caller feedback hotline at 267.341.7627 and record your thoughts on AMC. And now, if you have a Facebook account, you can scroll to the bottom of the column and leave your comments right here on this page!

Every year, people shell out big bucks on oysters, little blue pills, and other purported aphrodisiacs and sex aids. Thanks to All My Children, I've found a way to save millions of dollars. All you have to do to turn on your partner is to get murder charges against you dropped. It sure worked for Zach and Lea. It had only been a few scant minutes before Lea was doing some dropping of her own, if you know what I mean.

I know that there are a lot of strong opinions about this potential pairing. There are those that feel that Zach would never be interested in a woman other than Kendall, and there are others that feel that Zach needs a new woman in his life. I think I am somewhere in between. I've always thought that Zach and Kendall were a great pairing -- and I think that the creative liberties that AMC has been afforded by being an Internet-based production would really allow Zach and Kendall to shine even more. Of course, Kendall isn't around (full-time) at the moment.

I have to say that I am glad that Zach and Lea didn't do the do. I don't think the timing was right. In my head, I pictured that whenever Zach and Lea consummated their relationship, it would be just as Kendall walked through the front door and announced that she was home. So having Lea comment on the fact that Zach was still wearing his wedding ring was a classy moment. If she had disregarded that (or not noticed it, as was the case with me), she'd have been branded a whore by fans. This shows me that she has some scruples and also knows that there's no point of chasing after a man who is still in love with someone else.

It was so nice to see Alicia Minshew back on-screen as Kendall. We don't know exactly what's going on with her as of the time I wrote this column, but we do know that it involves some sort of cardiac issue. Several readers wrote in to tell me that Kendall's scar looked more prominent than it had in the past, perhaps suggesting that she's had a recent surgery. It's also possible that AMC's new makeup team opted to make the scar look different than it had in the past. I am hoping that she is not rejecting the heart. I don't want anything that ends up referencing the un-aborted transplanted fetus that was Josh Madden. It is, however, praiseworthy that AMC's writing team decided to use an existing condition as part of the explanation of why Kendall isn't in Pine Valley.

So there are now a lot of unanswered questions: Did Bianca really have a conference in Washington, or was it a "conference" with air quotes around it? Where in the world is Kendall living? I would think she has to be a good distance away from Pine Valley because Bianca had to call up Miranda and tell her that she'd be missing in action for a while.

The thing that saddens me most -- other than that Kendall has a medical issue -- is that Bianca seems to be turning into an absentee parent. I suppose I should also be concerned that Gabi has turned into an absentee child. We've heard mentions of her, but has anyone seen her in the past two years? There is also an interesting story to play here: Bianca's feelings of concern that her homosexuality is causing pain for her daughter. To the best of my knowledge, that angle has never been addressed on a soap. I think it's timely and topical and would further All My Children's legacy of telling groundbreaking social issue stories.

I have to admit that I'm a little perplexed by everyone's reaction to learning that Uri had killed his brother, Vlad. Uri is a man who has young women kidnapped, holds them hostage, plies them with drugs, and then forces them to have sex with men. Should anyone really be surprised that he'd whack his brother? Is there something more sinister about killing your flesh and blood?

I will admit that it didn't occur to me at the time that the fake, dead Uri was Vlad. I suspected it was some other Koslov associate who wasn't needed. That aside, I certainly don't think that Uri killing Vlad was the thing that tipped the scale to Uri being a bad guy. That scale was tipped a long time ago.

This isn't Days of our Lives, but it looks like the sand has run out of Jesse's hourglass of freedom. The walls are closing in around him, and I have no idea how he's going to explain all the things he's done. And there's another potential bit of fallout from this -- will Angie turn to David in her time of grief? Before you chase me with the torches and pitchforks, let me be clear: Jesse and Angie are, perhaps, my favorite soap opera couple of all time. I don't want them to split up. But there is undeniable chemistry between Angie and David.

I don't think that the writers need to have Angie and David fall into bed. Remember that period of time on AMC when everyone was having grief sex after they'd learned that their loved ones had died? Ugh. We don't need that. In fact, I don't even think that Angie and David need to kiss. There is something that would be intensely powerful if Jesse felt that Angie was having an emotional affair with David. If Jesse gets locked up, he won't be there when Angie needs him most. She's already dealing with everything that happened to Cassandra, and Jesse being carted off to the poky might push her over the edge.
